2026-27 Meal Plan Information

NOTE: From August 15 through September 1, you may purchase a new meal plan, but you cannot make changes to an existing meal plan during this period. If you need to modify a previously selected meal plan, you'll have another opportunity to do so from September 2 to September 11.

Important information for first-year students arrival on campus

• First year students will be provided with a Weeks of Welcome (WOW) meal plan that is active from Friday, August 21 at 4:30pm through Monday, August 24. The WOW meal plan includes three swipes per day (one per meal period), plus access to Dining Dollars. Everything will be on your JACard when you arrive.
• Please note, since the actual meal plan is not active until August 25, guest meals are not available for use during move in.
• Meal plans officially begin on Tuesday, August 25 at breakfast.

On-Campus Residents:

• Students living on campus will choose a meal plan when signing your housing contract.
• First-year on-campus residents may change their meal plan selection using this form. (No changes or cancellations can be made from 8/15-9/1).
• RAs and Grace Street residents may select any meal plan that is the 75 Block or above using this form.
• Hall Directors are not required to have a meal plan, but can sign up for one using this form.

Off-Campus Residents:

• Off-campus residents may sign up for a 2026-2027 off-campus meal plan any time using this form and will be automatically entered into our sweepstakes!

Important Dates about changing or cancelling* your off-campus meal plan

April 20-July 3

• Change your meal plan online (no administrative fee)
• Cancel your meal plan online (no administrative fee)

July 27-August 14

• Change your meal plan by filling out the online form ($20 administrative fee)
• Cancel meal plan filling out the online form and calling 540-568-5754 to confirm cancellation request ($50 administrative fee)

August 15-September 1

• New meal plan purchases only. No changes or cancellations can be processed during this period.

September 2-September 11

• Change meal plan by filling out the online form or in person ($20 administrative fee)
• Cancel meal plan by filling out the online form and coming to Dining HQ in person ($50 administrative fee)
• Refunds on cancelled plans will be prorated.
  
  

* FLEX is not a meal plan. Cancelled meal plans cannot be refunded to Flex. Please contact the University Business Office to deposit funds to FLEX.
